Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data RapidHosting collects, why, and your rights. RapidHosting is the data controller. Contact: support@rapidhosting.uk.
What we collect

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that protect it:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): our servers and backup storage, located in the EU (Finland and Germany).
- Stripe: payment processing. Stripe acts as an independent controller for some payment and fraud-prevention data; see Stripe's privacy policy.
- Resend: sending account and billing emails.
- 20i (UK): domain and DNS services.
Some providers may process data outside the UK (for example in the US). Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or UK adequacy regulations.
We may also share data if required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or systems.
How long we keep it
- Account details: while your account is open, and for up to 12 months after it closes unless you ask us to delete it sooner (subject to the records below).
- Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Game server data: deleted 14 days after your service ends; copies in our backups are overwritten within about 3 months.
- Security logs: generally up to 12 months.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are essential for the website and control panel to work, such as keeping you logged in and protecting forms. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to prevent fraud. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; and receive a copy in a portable format. Some rights have limits (for example we must keep tax records). Email support@rapidhosting.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and, for significant changes, let you know by email.
